When you buy one of my prints, what you’ll receive is an artwork, part of an editioned series. Each one, individually numbered, has been hand printed in the Graphic Studio Dublin; an internationally recognised printmaker’s studio.

The Family
In this print, my love of Fairy Tales with which I grew up with, was rekindled. What would an upbringing be without Hans Christian Anderson, the Brothers Grimm or Andrew Lang’s multicoloured Fairy books.
The Family(I) is an edition of 300 with 30 AP’s (Artist’s Proofs). Image dimensions 16cm x 16cm with paper size at 27cm x 27cm. It is printed on Fabriano Rosapina Avorio, which is a very soft, pale pink. If so wished it can be printed on Fabriano Rosapina Blanco. (white).

Winter Outside
When I’m drawing I often use an image from a magazine to start with and seeing what is brought out of that image so to speak. Once I’d drawn these shoes I realised they were the plastic shoes that Barbie dolls (along with cheaper imitations) wore and still wears.
Winter Outside is an edition of 150 with 15 AP’s (Artist’s Proofs). The image size is 16.2 cm x 11cm and the paper size is 27cm x 21cm. It is printed on Fabriano Rosapina Avoria which is a very soft, slightly pink paper.

Found In The Bedroom.
Found In The Bedroom is an edition of 250 with 25 AP’s. Printed in sepia ink on Fabriano Rosapina Avoria paper which has a very slight hint of pink to it, this print can also be bought printed on Fabriano white paper. The image dimensions are 15.6cm x 11.5cm and the paper size is 27cm x 22cm.

Silence.
Silence is an edition of 250 with 25 AP’s (Artist’s Proofs). Printed in black ink on Fabriano Rosapina Avoria, this paper is a gentle off-white with a tiny hint of pink. The image dimensions are 17cm x 15.5cm and the paper size is 29cm x 29cm.

It started with a mouse…………..
“Sleeping Mouse” below, was shown in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2016. It was the first time one of my prints had found a truly appreciative audience. Certainly it was from that experience that I’m here now creating my online print shop.

Negotiating Freedom was exhibited in the 250th Royal Academy Summer Exhibition curated by Greyson Perry. It is an edition of 275 and there are still some prints are available. Precious Mum
This print came out of drawings I made from memories of a time when my mum was going into hospital. I was very young and it was quite strange watching her heave on a heavy fur coat. The thing is your Mum is your mum and always the best in the world and you know that you are for her too in that way.

Losing Opportunities Whilst Asleep
Sketching in Dublin’s Botanical Gardens for this print I waited for a long time to see an interaction between the plant and animal kingdoms. At the time I waited because I was keen in this print to emphasise how every animal, insect or even human is under constant threat and one of the greatest things we can have in life is a vigilance. Many of the great titles for my prints come from a good friend in Spain. When she saw this she immediately came up with the words that express the intntion in depiction perfectly.
Losing Opportunities Whilst Asleep is a hand made etching in an edition of 50. Originally made for A Second Bite Of The Cherry, an exhibition organised by the Graphic Studio Gallery in Dublin, there are some prints of this edition still available.
